According to the requirements for products and characteristics of the industry, totally 56 categories of low-voltage products of Chint have passed China Compulsory Certification and 72 categories of high-voltage products have passed the certification of Power (Beijing) Product Certification Center.

Chint Research Institutes have been established to provide technical support and services concerning various products, and execute R&D of overall trans-disciplinary solutions, turning Chint to a “Technological Leader”. R&D Centers are mainly responsible for the following perspectives:
Research on Basic Technology
Focusing on early stage research for new technology, simulation theory research and design simulation analysis, including the simulation analysis for machinery, electricity, magnetism, heat, structure, liquid and so on. It is equipped with ADAMS, ANSYS series, WORKBENCH and other simulation software. Upon simulation analysis, the product performance is enhanced, R&D cost has been reduced and R&D period shortened significantly.
Research on Energy Efficiency Management
Focusing on organizing the Group’s R&D resources to conduct systematic research and technological breakthrough based on the new technologies and market demands, like smart grid and energy efficiency management. As of now, the solar PV energy efficiency management system has been successfully developed and widely applied in solar power plants. The “Intelligent Residence Energy Efficiency Management System” was selected as the key demonstration project of Shanghai.

Energy efficiency management research refers to organizing R&D resources to conduct systematic research and technological breakthrough based on the new technologies and market demands, like smart city, the Internet of Things (IoT), etc.
