DDSY666 Single Phase Smart Card (STS) Meter

Overview

The CHINT DDSY666 is the workhorse STS-standard single-phase prepaid meter for utility and landlord deployments. Customers top up with a 20-digit STS token entered on the keypad or pushed remotely via PLC; an optional In-Home Display (IHD) over PLC or M-Bus shows balance and consumption inside the dwelling. With ultra anti-tamper hardware, a 15-year battery backup, and IP54 housing, it has become the default revenue meter on countless Uganda installations. Available through Chint Uganda.
